Specialized Sport

Specialized Sport
Here's another solid shoe, for the price, from Specialized. This isn't a shoe you want to submerge, but the toe box will guard your toes against rocks and roots. The suede is stylee enough for the new brew house, yet burly enough for a Canadian. Like the Yuha Plus, another sweet price for a shoe in this line.

Who The Shoe Fits: An uptown-midtown-night rider, and/or a three-day weekend warrior.

Setback: ~$65

Factors: The ripe price sells itself. Nice features and a firm fit complete the winning formula that has made this such a popular shoe.

Features: It offers the same tread as the team shoe — can't be a bad thing — and tough rubber straps keep the Velcro in place. The soft Cordura/suede combo forms to your foot like buttah.

Tongue 'n Groove: Suede and water (or suede and the Northwest) don't mix, but damn they look good and perform swell, too.
