Sidi Dominator 3 Lorica

Sidi Dominator
Sidi’s best off-road model brings out the Lorica — some micro-fiber material, supposed to be good for ya'. Although it's water resistant and as soft as leather, it doesn’t breathe a whole lot, but doesn’t soak in a lot of water, either. There's little-to-no foot protection. Two rigid strap systems in the front combined with a primary back buckle allow you to find a perfect adjustment and stay with it. A fine fit out of the box.

Who The Shoe Fits: The racer who knows he doesn’t need laces and cares more about water resistance than breathability.

Setback: ~$209

Features: Silver and black Lorica upper, two rigid straps followed by an ultra, micro-lock buckle, and padded tongue.

Factors: A fine comfort factor. The sole gripped well in all conditions, but the Lorica got a little warm after a while. If you love rigid straps, you’ll love these rigid straps. The micro-buckle doesn’t work well at all with full finger gloves. Once wet, you're washed up for a while.

Tongue 'n Groove: These cush, warm, foot-wraps demand a second look. If you know you want a buckle and want it permanently tight, this could be your shoe. I reckon that the little holes must do some breathing because we weren’t overly sweatin’ inside ‘em, but we weren’t feeling much of a breeze between our little piggies either. Overall, yummy.
