Hello Mountain Zone, this is Douglas Stoup with the Antarctic Peninsula Climb and Cruise Expedition. It's February 22nd and we're heading back to Ushuaia. I'm looking at the sunset over the ocean right now and it's unbelievably beautiful.

Today we skied a face...Neko Bay, which was a beautiful...the sun was out shining bright and we grouped into a 2100-foot space in the sun and post-holed most of the way up. And it was sustained 45 degrees pretty much the whole way and made ski and snowboarding descents. All of us climbed and skied and snowboarded and Jared Stackman, which is another gentleman from Jackson Hole, was on the trip; he came along with us and joined the team of six of us.

It was a magnificent day: saw whales and all kinds of seals from the peak. Also there were some penguins on shore as well. So got a little bit of wild, and swells, and climbing, and skiing and snowboarding today. Antarctica has been such a pleasure for me and the team. Saw some amazing, beautiful things. I'll have to give you some more images through our writing.

Today is February 22nd. The temperature is 35°F. The water temperature is 39°F. Wind-speed is about 10.8mph out of the southwest. Wind-chill is about 32°F. Humidity's 40%...is our altitude, and the altitude climbed today is 2100ft. Hours of daylight is 7.2. Barometer is steady about 98. Location is...we're in the South Shetlands and we're heading into the Drake Passage. The team condition is excellent...everybody's spirits are high and we're just sad to leave the continent of Antarctica.

It's been such a beautiful, amazing trip and we'll be happy to share some more images with you when we arrive in Ushuaia. Just want to thank everybody for following and we'll give you another update tomorrow and send some more dispatches through e-mail. Thank you very much and have a great day.
