Hello Mountain Zone, this is Kristoffer Erickson from the Antarctic Climb and Cruise Expedition. It's February 15th...[Unintelligible]...several groups of crabeating seals, three Minke whales breaching as we drove our Zodiacs along the Charlotte Bay. After this quick, journey outing — looking around, sightseeing — we opted to get aboard the Shuleykin again and head south for a few more hours to Cuverville Island to stop off and take a look at one of the largest Gentoo penguin colonies. Also in this area, some of us took advantage of the very steep couloir, just across from Cuverville Island on...for some very sporty turns.

We're back on board again and sailing further south towards the Lemaire Channel, in hopes of reaching Lockroy Bay, or Lockroy Station tomorrow, to the British/Antarctic Station there and on further towards Mount Shackleton and a few other mountains for an extended stay on what we hope to be one of our larger projects along the trip.

For today's weather we are experiencing temperatures around 26° Fahrenheit; it's been snowing on and off; we've had wind out of the south around 9 knots; wind-chill of maybe 24° Fahrenheit; the humidity has been 30%; the altitude gain, today, that we experienced was 925ft. We're experiencing around 18 hours of daylight. Our barometric pressure 992.5 and our GPS is currently reading 64.39° latitude; 62.55° longitude.

All in all conditions are great. Everyone's in good spirits and we are extremely excited about what is to come in the next few days. Thanks again and hope everyone's enjoying the broadcast. Hello, Anne, just wanted to say hello.
