Hello MountainZone, this is Alpine Ascents Ama Dablam Expedition. Got some great news for you. At approximately 12:42pm on Wednesday the 4th of December the first team did make the summit.

On that team: Randy Luskey, Dave Morton, Chris Nichols and Nimatashi Sherpa. They want to wish all their family and friends well, and said they're enjoying a great view up there. It's a little bit windy and it's cold, but just an awesome view. It's been a long day, but they've made it to the summit, and they are now going to make their way back down to Camp III tonight. That's a little bit of a change...they were hoping to go to Camp II but they'll be going to Camp III.

As far as Houck and Jim, they have turned around and they are at Camp II, and they are going to wait until morning and probably make a move to Camp III. So that's where we stand right now, and we'll keep you updated.
