REVELSTOKE, BC - This town of 8,000 sits in the interior of British Columbia between the Selkirk and Monashee Mountain Ranges. The town offers a variety of restaurants and nights spots. The closest airport is in Kamloops, BC - 2 hours West. Rental cars are available at the airport. From Seattle and Vancouver, travel on Highway 1 to Hope, then the Quoqauhalla Highway to Kamloops, rejoining Highway 1 East to Revelstoke. From Seattle plan on 7 1/2 hours, Vancouver 5 hours.

CAT POWDER

The CAT skiing operates above the existing ski resort on Mt. McKenzie and offers runs of 2,500 vertical feet with elevations to 9,000 feet. Each Cat carries 12 passengers and takes 15 to 20 minutes to travel between runs. A group of expert skiers can ski 16,000 to 20,000 ft in one day. With several facings and elevations to ski, cat skiing is rarely affected by the weather. The Cat Powder Lodge is located in Revelstoke, the motel is near restaurants and night spots. Each unit has two double beds, private bath and color TV. The property has a hot tub and skiers room. Breakfast and most dinners are served at the hotel.

Soft powder and fat skis are available for rental (Approx: $21.00 per day) on both programs. These skis should be reserved in advance and will enhance your ski experience.
