Hey, it's Doug, Antarctica '99 Ski and Snowboard Expedition, Thursday, 11-25. Happy Thanksgiving.

Everyone sort of slept in today. We got pushed another day to get to the ice; we now leave on the 28th, due to high winds. Hopefully we'll leave on Sunday. Another down day, the team did a hike to a crag area. The weather goes from about 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit and thanks to all of our good gear that we have, everyone sort of has had to use it all — thanks to the North Face and Marmot. We did some hiking...climbed about. With our temperature ranges — the team has decided to hike over to the hotel for a Thanksgiving dinner. And we did a little Hacky Sac playing on our down day.

The temperature range is 51 degrees; wind speed 8 miles-an-hour, out of the southwest; wind chill 48 degrees Fahrenheit; barometric pressure 29.92; elevation 480ft; elevation climbed 0; hours of daylight around 17. We're at Torro del Paine campsite. [Unintelligible] team condition is fine; rest day, low energy but good mentally.

Thank you and — we did some bouldering as well. Thank you and have a great day. We'll check with you tomorrow.
