Ready to Go Wednesday, January 26, 2000
Well, it's about just before 6am local...[Unintelligible]...this is Willi Prittie reporting from 20,600ft on Aconcagua. Last night...got the stoves running from about six until midnight...[Unintelligible]...started to go about 4am in the first little blush of dawn light and we're doing our final preparations and should be starting on our climb to the summit in the just the next few minutes here. It's a beautiful, calm morning and about a half moon illuminating the landscape, zero wind, about 0° Fahrenheit out. So, we will check in a couple of times during the course of the day and let you know our progress. Alpine Ascents Guide Willi Prittie, MountainZone.com Correspondent
