Hey this is Matt Szundy, Alpine Ascents expedition facilitator and climbing guide, reporting from Denali in Alaska. Right now, no teams are moving. It's about 9 o'clock at night on the seventh and we've been experiencing tremendous winds and low temperatures all across the mountain, but especially up high. Scott Darsney and Luis Benitez are trapped along with about 100 other people at 11.5 camp and should be moving to Medical Camp as soon as the weather breaks.

We'll keep you updated. Everything's just sort of at a standstill; a lot of people came down from High Camp today and yesterday due to the winds and the temperatures and, hopefully, the storm will pass — we'll see. Again, this is Matt Szundy, Mountain Zone's correspondent, standing by at 14.2. Thanks.

Matt Szundy, Alpine Ascents International, MountainZone.com Correspondent
