Hello again everybody out there. It's 5:40 Alaska time and this is the Alpine Ascents second expedition, The Sunshine Boys.

It's the 18th of May and we just moved up to 9500 feet and put in another great camp. It's another gorgeous day. There were some high cirrus clouds earlier and it looks like they're coming back, but, for the most part, it's just been beautiful. Who knows what tomorrow will bring, we'll have to find out. Our plan tomorrow is to move up to 11,000-foot camp.

We have a cache at 10.2 that we're going to go back and grab tomorrow afternoon then we'll be in camp 11 tomorrow night. So we won't be making any contact tomorrow, this is our last call for a couple days probably.

"The weather looks like it's just about to start coming in so we're looking to load up these planes and get out of here..."

And the following day, the 20th, we'll be making a carry up to 13.5 and then going back to 11. And then the day after we'll be moving up to the 14,000-foot camp. We'll try to make a call from Windy Col on the 20th, if not we'll probably ending up talking to you guys again the 21st.

Everybody is having a great time. We've been having great food, so I've been hearing that these guys have been getting a lot of sympathy from their wives and girlfriends because they were going to be eating porridge the whole time, but I just want all those ladies out there to let go of the sympathy factor. Last night we had a steak fajita dinner, the night before we had Asian stirfry with shrimp and veggies so no need to worry about us. Everybody is living pretty good.

Anyway we will talk to you in a couple days and hope everyone is doing well. We all send our best wishes. This is Dave Morton for Sunshine Boys on the Great One, on Denali
