Hey folks this is Dave with the second 2002 Denali Expedition. It's May 17 and it's about 4 o'clock. We've just returned from caching at 10,200 feet. It's a beautiful day; all day it's been perfect. We've had few light winds early on this morning, but it's like a beach on the Kahiltna today.

Right now we're about at 9500 feet and we're descending back to our camp at 7800 feet at the base of the hill . Everybody is doing great. Had a couple nights in base camp, ate a bunch of good food: some hamburgers, some fresh chicken rosemary pasta, had some eggs and bacon for breakfast and some french toast. It's been great.

"And then yesterday we moved on up to, moved our camp in a single carry up to the base of Ski Hill at 7800 feet...."

And then yesterday we moved on up to, moved our camp in a single carry up to the base of Ski Hill at 7800 feet. We had a few lenticulars over Foraker and a few over Kahiltna Dome and it looked like the weather was coming in and maybe would start socking in the Kahiltna but it never happened. We woke up to perfect clear skies, so everybody is having a great time.

We will try to get back to you tomorrow from our camp. We're planning on putting in a camp at around 95- 9800 feet. So we look forward to talking to you again. Everyone here sends our warmest wishes and best thoughts to all our loved ones at home, you know who you are.

We will talk to you soon. This is Dave Morton from the big hill in Alaska for The Sunshine Boys. Bye-bye.
