Well, Janica you're on a roll this season — nobody can stop you or what?
Janica Kostelic:
Well, I think they can stop me because they can keep pressure on me, and they can beat me. I just have to ski good, and they ski good, and I'll have to ski better than them to be first.
Patrick Lang:
What a great season start. I mean, have you dreamed this could happen?
Janica Kostelic:
No, really, because others skied good at the beginning of the season, and I tried to do my best just to ski this season and not to get injured and to stay healthy. That was the plan for the season.
Patrick Lang:
So you said you have no secrets, but maybe it's because you are so relaxed and enjoying your life after your bad incident?
Janica Kostelic:
Yeah, just trying to be, you know, waiting for what's going to happen, what's going to be, and just try to have some fun.
Patrick Lang:
So what are your goals? Now you are the leader in the slalom World Cup? Are you thinking about it?
Janica Kostelic:
My goal is to stay healthy, as I said before, because if you are not healthy, you can't be first. If you break your leg, you can't be here. Just to stay healthy, and if I stay healthy, then goals will come.
Patrick Lang:
Yes, so what's next? Do you feel any pressure to keep on winning the record?
Janica Kostelic:
No, I don't have. You know, probably the people in Croatia, they want me to win again because they think if I won three times, then I can win a fourth time, fifth, six, and so on. The people in Croatia are like that. So, I don't know. I just ski the best that I can and try not to think too much about it.
Patrick Lang:
