Location

Eighteen miles west of Bend or 35 miles southwest of Redmond (RDM), Oregon. Van transfers and rental cars are available at the airport. Driving times - four hours from Portland and seven hours from Seattle.

Resort Information

Due to Forest Service regulations there are no accommodations at the ski resort. The nearest lodging is 12 miles away. The town of bend 18 miles away offers many services and lodging.

Area Accommodations

Mt. Bachelor Village (** - ***) and River Ridge Resort ( **** ) ( L-14mi / SR / HT / P / R / B ) - This resort offers one to three bedroom condominiums each with a full kitchen, fireplace and color TV. The property has a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant and bar are located at the athletic club adjacent to the property. Guests are welcome to use the Athletic Club of Bend (for a fee).

The River Ridge area of the resort offers deluxe condominiums and suites along the river each with a gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer, beautiful decor and private jacuzzi.

The Inn of the 7th Mountain ( ** / L-12Mi / SR / HT / P / S / R / B ) - This is the closest hotel to the ski resort. Each of the condominium units has a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, color TV, phone, private balcony, queen beds and in-room movies. The hotel units have one or two queen beds, private bath and color TV. The property also has a game room, grocery store, gas station, ski shop and offers daily maid service.

 Bend Shilo Inn ( *** / L-18Mi / SR / HT / P / S / R / B / LF ) - Located off Highway 97, the hotel features a variety of units, many with two queen or one king bed and color TV. Units with kitchens are available. The property offers a full buffet breakfast each day and complimentary Redmond airport shuttles in packages.

Sunriver ( ** - *** / L-17Mi / HT / P / S / R / B ) - This complete year round resort is 12 miles south of Bend and 17 miles from the ski resort by a direct road. The resort features a complete racquet club (for a fee), small village with several shops, restaurants and night spots. Each hotel unit has a queen bed, fireplace, color TV and private bath, many have a queen murphy bed. The condominium units have a full kitchen, fireplace and color TV.
