The Area

Banff and Lake Louise are 40 miles apart in the Banff National Park connected by the Trans-Canadian Highway. Near Banff is the ski resort of Mt. Norquay, 10 minutes away. Sunshine Village is between Banff and Lake Louise, 12 miles from Banff. The Lake Louise Ski Area is 1-1/2 miles off the highway and across the valley from Lake Louise, 5 miles. Kananaskis is mid-way between Calgary and Banff near Mt. Allen and Nakiska - sight of the '88 Olympic Games. Jasper is 120 north of Lake Louise at the end of the Ice Fields Parkway or accessable from Edmonton, 225 miles.

Banff Park Lodge ( *** / SR / HT / P / S / R / B ) - This hotel is located in downtown Banff. Spacious rooms all have color TV, two queen beds, telephone and bath with double vanities.

Banff Rocky Mountain Resort ( ** / SR / HT / P / S / R / B ) Located on Tunnel Mountain Road this property has 171 units with various styles. Most have full kitchen, wood burning fireplace with a variety of bed configurations. There are studio to 2 bedroom units.

Mount Royal ( ** / SR / HT / S / R / B ) - This historic hotel was built in 1908 and recently renovated. Located in the center of downtown Banff each hotel unit has two double or one queen bed, color TV and private bath. Suites are available.

Ptarmigan ( ** / SR / HT / S / R / B ) - Located in the downtown Banff area each hotel unit has one or two double beds, color TV, hairdryer and coffee service. The property has an exercise facility and indoor parking.

Rundle Manor ( ** / SR / P / HT / S ) - This small charming property has one and two bedroom suites each with a kitchen, living room, color TV, and balcony. Amenities are shared with the Inns of Banff Park.

Swiss Village ( ** / SR / P / HT / S ) - For the budget minded traveler, each unit has two double beds. Amenities are shared with the Inns of Banff Park. The complex has been recently renovated.

LAKE LOUISE

Chateau Lake Louise ( *** / L-5Mi / SR / HT / P / R / B ) - This grand CP Hotel is nestled next to Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier. There is gracious dining in the Victoria Room or in several of the other restaurants and lounges. There is also a full health club. Most rooms offer twin beds. Lake side rooms and suites are available.

JASPER

Jasper Park Lodge ( **** / L-13Mi / SR / P / HT / S / R / B ) - Located 20 minutes north of Marmot Basin Ski Resort this resort features 442 guest rooms of all types along Lake Beauvert. The resort has ice skating, cross country skiing, 77 shops, full health club and free shuttle to Marmot Ski Resort. The units are very quiet and offer a romantic setting. Deluxe rooms and suites. Lifts are included at Marmot Basin.

KANANASKIS

Lodge at Kananaskis ( *** / L-3Mi / SR / P / HT / S / R / B ) - This lodge is located at Nakiska - the sight of the 1988 Olympic Games. Each unit has one king or two double beds, color TV and coffeemaker. The complex has a full health club. Over 250 km of cross country ski trails are in the local area. Lifts are not included in package rates.

Lower rates are available at most hotels pre and post ski season.

Higher rates apply Christmas / New Years at all hotels (December 19 - January 3 - most hotels).

Rates do not include: Local Tax, park entrance fees and GST on lifts.

GST on lodging - As a service, non-Canadian guests booked with us do not pay the refundable GST on lodging.

Deposit: $100.00 per person is due within 7 days of confirmation - $50.00 per person is non-refundable.

Final payment: Final balance is due 40 days prior to departure. No refunds after final payment.
