Tomas Annerby
headshot Tomas Annerby began a career as a building engineer but quickly realized he wasn't cut out for an office job. A week after quitting, he began travelling throughout Europe, Asia, and North America and has continued to do so ever since. In 1996 he bought his first camera and began shooting sports, travel and nature photography.

Since then he has specialized in his favorite discipline, ski photography. "I have a good/bad habit of always choosing what I enjoy before choosing what I can receive income from," says Annerby. "I don't consider photography a job. I do it for fun, and when you get paid to do it, it's just a bonus. If you don't think it's fun or if you have the pressure to earn money, you're not going to shoot good pictures...not me, at least." Those are a few good rules to live by.
