 Mt Townsend trail run Trail running is a dynamic combination of a cardiovascular workout and the beauty of the mountains, and it requires a small and lightweight camera to capture the action on film. On this particular day we had just left the summit of Mt. Townsend in the Olympic Mountains of Washington when we found ourselves dropping into a thick soup of fog. With an Olympus point-and-shoot camera handy around my neck I was able to stop and catch my friend as he headed into it. A larger, more sophisticated camera would not have done the job because I would have left it at the trailhead. |
