Hi it's Ed Viesturs reporting for one final, last time here on The Mountain Zone. It's Wednesday, May 12th and I get to go home today, which is great. It's been a great adventure to be here. As I mentioned earlier, Veikka and I both thought this was one of the best seasons we've ever had. Conditions were great, the weather was great, our health was good. Everything fell into place as we had hoped it would, and things turned out wonderfully. We had two successful climbs, we're both healthy, no injuries, can report good news and having had a great adventure.

So I'll be heading home today. It's raining now, it's cloudy. Everybody here is saying the monsoon is inching its way up. It's hard to say what this is doing in the mountains. We hope that other people that are still here, still trying to climb their mountains will have a successful season hopefully in the next few weeks before the end of May. So that's it for me in Kathmandu. I think we'll be doing one more final interview when I get back to Seattle. I'm looking forward to a good summer and thanks for following us on The Mountain Zone. This is Ed Viesturs signing out from Kathmandu.
