Hi, it's Ed Viesturs reporting once again on The Mountain Zone. [Satellite Transmission Fails] and we left Base Camp and we walked for nine hours. The first four-and-a-half hours, which was uphill, and I don't think printable words can describe [Satellite Transmission Fails] Veikka and I enjoyed that...hours of uphill... Base Camp, but the last four-and-a-half hours were more or less, more or less downhill, and we're now in the village of Marpha. Tomorrow we'll [Satellite Transmission Fails]

Yeah, it's Ed again just to complete my report. Veikka and I had a long nine hour day today, and we're also, (coughs) as you can hear, suffering the after effects of climbing high altitude without oxygen, the cold, dry air, and we're paying for it. As we were walking today, we were literally coughing all the way, every other step and at one point, we crested a ridge, we stopped for one minute, both of us had coughing fits and [Satellite Transmission Fails]
