Hi it's Ed Viesturs reporting on The Mountain Zone, it's the evening of April 15. This is Veikka and my first full day of rest here at Base Camp. Been quite nice, relaxing, reading, having three full square hot meals today, which is very nice; something we were deprived of up higher on the mountain. It's been nice here, also been noticing that the weather been unsettled since yesterday afternoon. So our intuition, or our guess work, as far as what the weather was going to do was correct in the fact that it has been unsettled, snowing off and on since yesterday afternoon and it's been snowing off and this afternoon also.

So this is our first full day of taking a break at Base Camp. We plan to be here probably for two more days. I'll keep you updated on our progress and what our plans are going to be that's going to be determined on what the weather brings in the next couple of days. So that's it for now, Ed Viesturs signing off.
