Hello everyone, it's Ed Viesturs on Manaslu reporting for The Mountain Zone. It's the evening of April 12th. We're at Camp II, but we have a new Camp II, we're at 21,000 ft. We decided to move our temporary camp of last night a little bit higher. It was a beautiful, sunny day, it took us about four-and-half-hours of climbing to get to this point and this is now going to be our permanent Camp II at 21,000 ft.

We're going to hang out here for a couple of nights, scoot around, get acclimatized, check out the North Col and maybe, in a day or two, work our way up and establish Camp III, assuming the weather continues to hold. We've been having really great weather. We'll be up here for a few more days, and then work our way down to Base Camp for a few days of rest. So I'll keep these messages brief for now. I don't know how long the phone batteries are going to last, but we plan to be down to Base Camp around April 15th. I would also like to say hello to all my family and friends out there as would Veikka Gustafsson. [Unintelligible] from Veikka Gustafsson and also a huge Himalayan hug and kiss to Paula and Gil.

All right, this is Ed Viesturs signing off, talk to you tomorrow. Adios.

Ed Viesturs, Mountain Zone Correspondent
