The team is comprised of Robert Anderson, Chris Heintz, Peggy Foster, Intesar Haider and Bob Guthrie.

Robert Anderson Robert M. Anderson
Expedition Leader Robert Anderson will be returning to Antarctica following a previous expedition in which he soloed two new routes on Mt Vinson. Previously, Anderson led the first and only successful ascent on Everest's Kangshung Face completed without oxygen or Sherpa support, before going on to solo the remaining six of the worlds seven summits. He is a Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director at the advertising agency Foote Cone and Belding in New York City while on flat ground, and a Mountain Guide for Jagged Globe in the UK when he ventures into the hills.



Chris Heintz Chris Heintz
Chris Heintz most recently climbed up and skied down from the tallest mountain in Europe, Mt Elbrus, before setting his sights on doing the same in Antarctica. Heintz has also climbed peaks in Ecuador, Africa and the United States. He is the President of MassMedium, Inc. in New York City.



Peggy Foster Peggy Foster
Peggy Foster is striving to be the 1st Canadian woman to stand on the seven continental pillars of the world. Canada Post is assisting Peggy on #5 of her Seven Summits Odyssey; with Carstensz Pyramid and Everest in her expedition plans for 2003 & 2004. Peggy's wish in climbing the seven summits is to inspire others to reach beyond their perceived limitations and to achieve more of their true potential.



Intesar Haider Intesar Haider
Intesar Haider has been climbing since he was ten years old when he climbed Tenzing Rock in Darjeeling, India. He got started by participating in climbing courses at the renowned Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Since then he has successfully climbed several trekking peaks in the Himalayas, Mt. Washington, NH and Mt. Rainier, WA and has attempted North Koktang in Sikkim, India. Born in Bangladesh, Intesar now lives in New York City. When not climbing Intesar works in Salomon Smith Barney's credit derivatives group.




Bob Guthrie Bob Guthrie
Bob Guthrie has traversed up one side and down the other on Mt McKinley, repeated the feat on South America's tallest peak, Aconcagua, then climbed up the Machame route and down the normal route on Kilimanjaro. Then, after a rare cancer condition in 2000, he climbed Mt Elbrus in 2002 , ascending on foot, and descending on a snowboard. He is a computer engineer and lives in Niwot, Colorado.
