Getting skiers and boarders pumped up pre-season, Teton Gravity Research's latest film, Further, is hitting big screens all over North America. People jonesing for the snow can go to one of 47 AMC Theaters, starting October 13th, to quell their snow anxiety even if just for a little while.

AMC calls it "Adrenaline Theater," and moviegoers will get a 35mm, huge screen, loud music experience of the culmination of TGR's passion for the past five years: big mountain skiing and snowboarding by athletes who go big.

Gordy Peifer, who also appeared in the recent IMAX movie Extreme, rips in Alaska in Further. And if you're from the Motor City, you might catch him at his hometown big screen.

As the film tour expands from its usual grassroots roadtrip, Gordy, who grew up skiing a 200-vert mountain in Detroit, Michigan, says it's great that people in bigger cities now have access to TGR's adrenaline-filled flicks. "My brother still lives in Detroit and he's going to catch the opening show there," said Gordy, who will be there signing posters.

Other athletes in Further include "Sick" Rick Armstrong, Micah Black, Doug Coombs, Matt Goodwill, Tanner Hall, Jeremy Jones, Kent Kreitler, Jeff McKitterick, Dave McReynolds, Brant Moles, Jeremy Nobis, Robert Olson, Les Trois Phillipes, Evan Raps, Shannon Schad, Dave Swanwick, Candide Thovex, Julie Zell, and more.

Each fall, TGR releases one of the most anticipated ski and snowboard films. TGR's prior films, like "Harvest" and "The Realm," have toured resorts, ski bars and colleges all over the country. Further premiered in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a few weeks ago to a die-hard crowd and now Adrenaline Theater brings the joy to those a little farther from the mountains.

So head to your local multi-screen AMC theater and see Further— it will be playing right down the hall from the Exorcist.
