Team Aussie has arrived at the Marrakech finish line at 1:15pm in second place.

Captained by Jane Hall, the team rode across the finish line with teammates John Jacoby, Peter James, and Tim Smallwood all looking relieved and elated at having finished in second place for the second year in a row.

" USA Team Rubicon and Team SCAR both had members evacuated from the Mgoun Peak suffering from altitude sickness and exhaustion..."

"This race was very different from Australia (last year)" said Jane Hall.

"From below freezing temperatures, where our water bottles froze, to bloody hot days with incessant wind throughout the course. It was incredibly rugged, it was hard."

Also last night this Eco-Challenge course claimed several more teams.

USA's Team Rubicon and Team SCAR both had members evacuated from the Mgoun Peak suffering from altitude sickness and exhaustion. Rubicon's Lisa Young and SCAR's Terry Schneider were helicoptered to camp 2 in Agouti where they are recovering.

Hang tight as not far behind are Team Cepos and the Kiwis.
