Everybody did very well, we're very happy to be down here in the thick air of Base Camp. Our plans are now to actually evacuate Base Camp for a few days and we're going down as far as a bit over 12,000 feet to Deboche for a kind of recovery attempt before we stage back up in hopes of a summit attempt.
So yesterday was kind of a little bit of an organized lounge day before today which is the day we actually take off. The media folks were busy up here. We had Jeff who was interviewed live by CNN, and Al was interviewed live with Fortune Magazine and both Joe and Al were interviewed by Discovery International from Canada. So some people had a pretty heavy time with the press going on up here. A lot of interest being generated of course by our unique climb here this season.
And the rest of just sort of hibernated and read books in our tents and tried to eat a lot to recover from some of the lost calories up higher on the mountain. At any rate, we'll be continuing to keep you posted about how our days go during our lower elevation recovery for a few days before we return back to Base Camp. Ciao for now.
