This is Vernon, we're at 14.2. I just dropped down, picked up the phone from Scott Darsney's group. We found out that Martin had accidentally taken it to Talkeetna with him. It's back on the mountain and we'll be broadcasting regularly.

Above us is Jim Williams and Pat Timson's group at 17.2. They're holding today and hoping for good weather tomorrow to go to the summit. We'll keep you abreast of that situation.

Here at 14.2, it's sweltering hot; it's thin cloud cover and calm. It's so hot. It's just one of these things that only happens once in a lifetime at 14.2. It gets so hot they can actually bathe right here on the glacier. Now you know what they say, 'cleanliness is close to Godliness' and we're about as close as you can get right now.

Things have been moving right along. Our group is intact and spirits seem to be up and cheery. We've moved into a very nice location here. Fortunately, Jim William's group left a great little campsite for us . We've moved in and we've set up a tent. Tonight we're going to have a party, a pre-solstice warm-up. And all the gang's going to be around. We're even going to have Martina from France, she's coming over along with her group. And, we'll be having a great dinner followed by dessert and dancing. So, we wish you could be here.

And that will probably be it for the time being. We'll probably catch back up with you tomorrow about the same time. Cheers and goodbye from 14.2.
