We're back online here. We're team number seven. I can give everybody an update as to what is going on here. We're at 9,800ft, a little bit above Camp II, just around the corner from the 11,000 foot camp, currently. We got up here in good time with our team. Everyone's strong and healthy; we're doing well. We just had a great pasta dinner that Bill McCormick... Bill cooked up tonight.

And the other teams on the mountain: we have Vern Tejas who just moved up to 14,000ft today from 11 and we've got Jim Williams who's sitting up there patiently at 17,000ft waiting for good summit-day weather.

Yesterday was okay day, but not really great summit day. Some teams went up there and a lot of groups turned around. I don't know if anyone got up to the top or not.

Today, currently, it's lightly precipitating up here and we've got some light winds coming up-glacier. But we're all cozy here inside our big, little-posh-house, mega-mit tent. Finishing up dinner, just listened to Base Camp Annie at eight o'clock. Let's see what else can we say...Jim should be summitting anytime and as soon as we heard word on the CB from Jim or have him come down we'll put him on the phone when we cross paths.

Our plan tomorrow...we had a rest day here. We did single carries. We did a single carry with all of our equipment up to 7800ft and yesterday we did another carry up in mixed fog and sunshine up to 9800 here. And tomorrow we'll plan to move around the corner and get into the 11,000-foot camp where we'll stage our carry up to 14,000.

We're just kind of sitting here acclimating and getting used to conditions here on the mountain. We had some great card games today, and great stories we've been swapping around and whatnot. It's been fun and great talking to everyone out there in the Mountain Zone. I think the last time I talked to folks was last year during all of the British rescues and whatnot.

So, this is Scott Darsney and Bill McCormick, we'll be signing off here for now and we'll talk to you again shortly. See-ya.
