Hi Mountain Zone this is Todd. We are at Barranco Hut at 13,200 feet just under the Breach Wall of Kilimanjaro. We had a fantastic day today with beautiful sunshine weather hiking up. We left camp at about 8am this morning and hiked up to 15,000 feet, just below, and then we hiked back down.

"We started off with clear skies, hiked up through some lava flows, which were big boulders of lava...."
The hike today was really good. We started off with clear skies, hiked up through some lava flows, which were big boulders of lava. We hiked up to 15,000 feet and had lunch. It was beautiful views of the mountain all day long.

Everybody in the group is doing amazingly well and we are psyched for the day after tomorrow when we will be on our summit attempt. Right now we are looking down at the clouds beneath and the mountain's clear. There are big tall cactus trees which are about 12 to 15 feet tall. It is beautiful here and everybody is happy and things are good.

Noah has chipped his tooth, so Noah's mother will you book him an appointment. He's doing fine, but he did it eating a potato. He bit his fork when he was eating a potato and chipped his front tooth, but he needs a dentist appointment when he gets back.

We've had a couple people wanting to drop off some messages so I'll pass the phone.

'Hello this is Bruce Buhr. I'd like to send a message to my wife Meribeth and my son Vincent just saying that Nathan and I are doing well. We are having a great time and we hope they are doing well and we love them. Thanks.'

'Hi this is Allison Wallace and I just wanted to send this message to my mom and dad and my brother Joe and Mr. and Mrs. Hafner that we're doing fine and having a blast. It's amazing up here.'

'Hey mom, don't worry, everything's fine.' That was Adam. Adam's having a great time, he's acclimatizing well and doing great on the mountain.

So that's all for now. Bye-bye.
