Hey MountainZoners, Matt Szundy calling from 14.2 on Denali with Alp 10. We are calling to report in that the last few hours we've received about 8 inches of fresh powder here at 14.2 and the winds are blowing pretty high, um, pretty hard up high. And, we are taking a rest day today, we are not going to move to high camp.

"...so it goes for Mount McKinley. You gotta suck it up and deal with it..."

We will more than likely move to high camp tomorrow, but based on weather conditions that decision will be made in the morning. So for now this is Matt just touching base with you letting you know that we are getting slammed by a whole lotta snow here at 14.2 and the forecast, the outlook is not very good, but so it goes for Mount McKinley. You gotta suck it up and deal with it.

We've got plenty of food, we have about seven days' worth of food cached up high, waiting for our move to high camp. Everyone's in great spirits and they're hunkered down in their tents, having just had a huge breakfast of scrambled eggs and hash browns and fried bagels. So everyone's in great spirits once again, and we're having a great time up here.

For now, this is Matt calling from 14.2 and we'll talk to you later.
