Hey everybody out there, it is 3:45pm on May 14 and Alpine Ascents' second team is about to take off from talkeetna Airstrip. This is Dave Morton and Conan Bliss calling in. We've decided to name our team Sunshine Boys, that's in honor of Camp Sunshine, cancer camp for kids, who Ron Farb has raised a bunch of money for in order to get to the top of McKinley.

We've had a beautiful day in Talkeetna and just got done with a wonderful ranger orientation from our friend Scooter.

The weather looks like it's just about to start coming in so we're looking to load up these planes and get out of here as soon as possible and sneak in under some of this encroaching, marginal weather.

So we won't see you, or talk to you guys, for a few days. Look for us calling in once we get back into radio range in a few days. We look forward to three nice days at Base Camp, doing a little bit of skills work and then heading out, and we should be moving up to Camp I on the 16th. So we will talk to you guys then. This is Dave Morton from Talkeetna. Bye-bye.
