|
 | John and Marcy are engaged, the couple met at an adventure race. He popped the question during the 2000 Motorola Marathon! Marcy and Kip are brother and sister. Darran was working for the Peace Corps in the Democratic Republic of Congo when a war broke out. After several days in the war zone, he was evacuated by helicopter to Angola. This team was on the Eco-Challenge wait list for over 7 months, but throughout that time, they trained as though they were going to Sabah. It paid off when they became a last minute addition in April.
