 | Danelle was Playboy's Miss April 1995, Kalin was Miss August 1997, and Jennifer was Miss August 1993. The Playboy Extreme Team was founded by Danelle Folta, who wanted to shatter the stereotype and expose a different side of Playmates. Over the last two years, the team has achieved increasingly difficult goals in a variety of sports. Together with Kalin, Jennifer, and token male Owen West (who's still awaiting word from Playgirl on the pictures he submitted), Danelle now faces the most important - and difficult - test of her career. Team Playboy Extreme is one of two teams competing in this year's Eco-Challenge with only one male member. Owen hopes to use his previous Eco-Challenge experience to lead this team to the finish line. He was recently elected as a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is awaiting the publication of his first novel, Sharkman Six, whose film rights were purchased by HBO.

1998 Hi-Tec Adventure Race, 2nd place. Danelle is an avid snow-boarder, and enjoys mountain biking, swimming, and endurance running. As part of the Playboy Extreme Team, she has been in the top ten of the Hi-Tec Adventure Racing Series for the past two years. She hopes to encourage more women to become active in adventure racing.
