Eco-Challenge // Teams // Team Earth Island/Travelocity

 Team Earth Island/Travelocity (USA) // Number 53
The team is racing for the Earth Island Institute, an organization that sponsors environmental projects all over the world, including Borneo. The team hopes to raise awareness for the planet's present state of health. The team also participates in an educational outreach program that takes inner-city youth on nature trips, educating them about the environment. Terrence volunteers as a mentor for the Leukemia Society's mountain biking program, is working on his MBA, and writes poetry in his spare time. The team actually met through the Leukemia Society's Team in Training-Triathlons. The team has matching bracelets they all wear to remind them what they're doing and why they're doing it.
