Steve has run a 2:52 marathon, competed in ultra distance triathlons, and swam from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco. He also has experience rock and ice climbing, mountain biking, sea kayaking, whitewater canoeing, and is a certified scuba diver. He is a part-time instructor at Presidio Adventure racing School in San Francisco.
