He is even selling his motorcycle to finance his trip to Borneo! Ed is the founder of STREND Fitness Challenge and the Dusk2Dawn Adventure Race, and is an instructor for counter-terrorist operations.

His time spent in the military gave him extensive jungle experience that will be sure to help this team in Borneo. Ed teaches at the Presidio Adventure Racing School, and is an avid mountain biker. He also had extensive experience kayaking, canoeing, and orienteering.
