Team Costa Rica F.O.R. is supporting the Friends of the River (F.O.R.), an organization that protects the rivers of Costa Rica. This team represents the first Costa Rican contingent to enter an Eco-Challenge. Ursula leads hiking and river paddling trips across Costa Rica, including a route from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast of Costa Rica that takes twelve days of hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and kayaking to complete. Alex runs his own rafting and adventure company in Northern Costa Rica. Juan Carlos founded the Costa Rica Triathlon Association.
