 | This team consists entirely of Vancouver police officers. Peter and Ralph are both involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Program, which trains young adults in the non-technical aspects of mountaineering and wilderness travel from beginner to advanced levels. Peter is also a member of the Vancouver SWAT team. The team supports the British Columbia Special Olympics.

Ralph is an accomplished outdoorsman who has been a Duke of Edinburgh Awards Expedition instructor and guide since 1989. He was a technical ropes instructor for the Vancouver SWAT team for eight years, and has been mountaineering and rock climbing for over 20 years. Ralph has led ascents of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker. He has experience mountain biking, ocean kayaking, running, and backcountry telemark skiing.

James is a talented athlete with experience hiking, camping, climbing, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, and scuba diving. He has rowed his entire life, including at the collegiate level. James then focused on karate, and earned the opportunity to try out for the Canadian Shotokan National Team. He made the team and competed at the World Cup in 1998.
