 | At 52, Bob is the oldest competitor in this year�s Eco-Challenge. Up until the age of 44, Bob had smoked up to 2 packs of cigarettes a day, and was 50 lbs. overweight! He decided to get healthy by training for the Vancouver Marathon, and completed the race in 3:27. Sabah will be Bob�s 5th Eco-Challenge. With their previous Eco-Challenge experience, Bob and Rob hope that Borneo will be the best finish yet for this west coast Canadian team. Adrian grew up in the Blue Mountains of Australia, and currently works as a freelance accountant in order to leave time for his outdoor pursuits.

Carys was a world cup mountain bike downhill racer, and a member of the Rocky Mountain Froriders, a group of extreme mountain bikers. She is experienced in backcountry skiing, backcountry running, climbing, and cycle touring. Carys recently spent over two weeks completing a solo cycling trip from Vancouver to Mexico.

Adrian is an excellent orienteer and mountaineer, who also enjoys extreme and backcountry skiing. He is a CSIA ski instructor and CAA Level One Avalanche Certification holder, and has completed numerous ski traverses and winter climbs in the Canadian Rockies. Adrian is a wilderness runner and climber who has summitted many peaks throughout Western Canada and Washington state.
