Julie Parisien (USA)
Birthday: 8/2/71
Home Base: Auburn, ME

Julie Parisien is back racing with the US ski team after three years of pro time. Parisien left the World Cup tour in 1994 to race professionally. During that time, she captured milestones such as: Rookie of the Year on the US women's pro tour in 1995 and overall champion for the past two seasons.

The slalom silver medalist at the 1993 World Championships decided this fall to try for her third Olympic Winter Games. Parisien has picked up her own tab, with no help from USSA, while she has regained her position on the ski team. Because she was away from the FIS for three seasons, she lost her ranking and started from scratch this year.
