The Race So Far

Prideful finishes, costly naps at sea, and the will to finish.



Excitement continues on Day 8 of the race as local favorite, Team Sabah 2000, crosses the finish line in grand style.

The race for seventh – tenth places heated up a bit, as Team Schroders (U.K.) passed Team oobe (U.S.A.) who fell asleep in their canoe and overshot the PC. Team oobe got back on track and finished eigth.

Teams Hi-Tec and Vail/PacketVideo are overcoming pains of all sorts, plodding forwards towards a respectable top-ten finish, despite race hardships.
