Tuesday, November 12, 2002

Have you been at the Mondial du Ski at Les 2 Alpes? If not, you missed the 2002 Salomon Crossmax Series Big Final as well as skitests and never ending parties… Starting off on Friday with perfectly blue skies, burning sun and a radically fast X-Games qualifier Skier-X, the Salomon team showed what they’re able to achieve despite an international world class starter field. After a hair-rising thrilling final, with a decision only on the last meters before the finishing line, Saab Crossmax Pro Team leader Enak Gavaggio (FRA) took first place before Lars Lewen (SWE) and not less than three others of his teammates : Daron Mc Beath (former World Cup racer), Sean Clark and Xavier Kuhn! The first five places for Salomon and in total seven riders qualified for the X-Games on a single day – that was quite much even for this team which is used to success !

On the women side ("a hot Skier-X " for girls !), the canadian Aleisha Cline was really the fastest : impressive and agressive on the jumps! Edyth Rozsa took the third place skiing, as her canadian teammate Daron Mc Beath, with World cup experience…Congratulations to you all ! You want to know more about this Big Final : winners interviews are waiting for you in the CROSSMAX MAG!

ALEISHA CLINE, the Saab Salomon Crossmax Pro Team new comer: an impressive Skier-X, Big Mountain and Downhill Mountain Bike rider! More informations on www.SalomonSki.com...
