Ideal User: Soft-edged techies.

You're an avid outdoor warrior, so why should your PDA scream desk jockey? Executive leather and monograms don't cut it in the wild, and Eagle Creek has crafted a PDA worthy of you and your lifestyle. The zippered case is a wallet, organizer and PDA holder all in one. With multiple pockets for organization, you don't need to wonder what you should take with you when you motivate. Plus, it's so cool looking you won't be able to wait to fill it with your credit cards, ID, change and, of course, PDA.

A front slip pocket holds your passport or other small travel documents. Open up the case and a stretch mesh sleeve in the inner binder holds PDA batteries or a stylus (great since the PDA stylus slot always breaks); the left side hosts a wallet-type organizer sleeve for credit cards, ID and insurance card. Once inserted, you never have to remove the PDA. The case opens wide and the right side is a soft Velcro panel for securing your PDA after you stick three (included) Velcro adhesive dots to the back of your micro-computer. Leave it attached to the strong grip of Velcro.

A zipper keeps it all tight and secure as well as relatively protected from the elements. It would be a welcome addition to see the case waterproofed and seam-sealed. Until they think of that, be happy it's water-resistant and sturdy. Made of 500 denier Cordura Plus nylon with polyester lining, both front and rear panels are reinforced and padded to prevent the PDA from getting bent or crushed, but I would have liked a soft, inner-chamois divider between the right and left sides to protect the screen.

As for roominess, the case is flexible enough to fit the Compaq Ipaq along with its expansion sleeve but at 4.5" x 6.5" x 1.5," there's not much room left over. You'll have to get a second case for your collapsible keyboard. One caveat: having everything in one place means the potential to lose everything at once. On the bright side, a loop handle and metal clip allow for easy carrying options, attaching keys or securing to a larger bag. It also comes with Eagle Creek's Lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, it won't cover the contents!
