Amherst, NH (August 21, 2002) - Seven vans, fifty states and a whole lot of snow in between.

That's what the crew of seven Atomic Promotional Reps is thinking as they prepare to visit ski towns across the country in a fresh fleet of Atomic demo vans.

Atomic's newly initiated Promotional Rep Program is part of the ski manufacturer's efforts to expand its in-the-field sales force to provide a higher level of dealer support.

The team will be traveling extensively across the United States this winter in a fleet of Ford E150 vans loaded with the latest ski technology from Atomic. From national competitions to local shop sales, chances are you'll see a tricked-out Atomic van in your hometown.

"While this team of stalwart drivers will coordinate with Atomic's regional sales reps for on-snow demos and tech clinics, they'll also be responsible for promoting the brand and the product at major sales events, pro/race nights, regional trade shows and sales clinics," said Jack Baltz, President of Atomic USA.

With "accomplished skier" as a prerequisite for the position, the team will place an emphasis on getting more dealers out skiing on Atomic technology, while providing exemplary service to Atomic accounts.

Atomic sees the Promotional Reps as a valuable supplement to its existing sales force.

"With these guys visiting virtually every slope with snow, the program will also help Atomic to expand its rental business at individual ski resorts," added Baltz.

"We're going to be everywhere."

Located in Amherst, New Hampshire, Atomic USA manufactures and markets alpine skis, boots, and bindings, as well as complete line of cross-country skis and snowboards. Atomic, one of the world's largest ski brands, provides products that allow professional athletes to excel, while also helping recreational skiers to improve their skiing technique.
