Wilsonville, OR (April 23, 2002) -- Pacific Cornetta, Inc., of Wilsonville, Oregon, accepted the 2002 Gold Medal Award from the American Culinary Institute(ACI) for thermal beverage containers at Carnegie Hall in New York. The company's Liquid Solution vacuum bottles won the Thermal Carafe category, and beat out several larger, more established competitors.

"Our Liquid Solution vacuum bottles are the best on the market, and it is an honor to have their quality recognized," said Alex Liu, vice-president. "On store shelves, our Bullet, Titan, and Classic34 are often next to models from other brands. Prestige like this helps customers make an informed choice."

During blind judging, a panel of professional Chefs in San Francisco declared the company's Liquid Solution vacuum bottles best overall in design, construction, and user friendliness. Products judged conform to ACI judging criteria.
