Hazleton, PA, February 2002 -Suede skate shoes just don't keep your feet warm, so why bother? The Alpine Core Series is perfect for jumping off your board (be that snow, surf or skate) and into warmth and comfort.

The two styles in this series feature the JiBS Four-Layer Upper Package in order to warm feet up after playing in the snow all day: this system consists of four technologically advanced layers. The outer layer is a Malden Mills Polartec(R) 200 DWR, the second layer is a Stratos Rx waterproof breathable membrane for the maximum in dryness. 200 grams of 3M Thinsulate(TM) makes up the third layer. The final layer consists of Malden Mills Polartec 200 shearling. Elastic webbing replaces shoelaces for easy on, easy off shoes, great for post sport, end of the day, quick use.

First in this series is the Stinger, a boot that features two pieces of webbing, one over the top of the foot and the other around the ankle for a snug, but comfortable fit. An abrasion resistant overlay on toe and heel is for added protection. The Stinger retails for $99 and is available in Black, Onyx, Sea Oats, Glacier Blue and Twilight Time.

The Dark Star is a slip-on shoe that features patented drawstring adjustability for easy tightening and loosening. Abrasion resistant overlay on the vamp protects foot. From under the overlay is the addition of elastic webbing for a secure fit. The Dark Star comes in Onyx and Glacier Blue for the retail price of $85.
