WFSC Travel Deals
Save bucks on travel to World Free Skiing Champs.
Monday, March 11, 2002

Organizers of the World Free Skiing Championship, April 10 - 15 in Valdez, Alaska, have developed several discount travel options designed to make your trip to Valdez as affordable as possible.

Alaska Airlines will provide all WFSC competitors with special discounted fares: travel between Seattle and Anchorage on Alaska Airlines will cost only $350 for a round-trip ticket, and round-trip fares for travel between all other markets in the lower 48 (excluding Sun Valley, Chicago and Wash, D.C.) and Anchorage are only $450. Additionally, tickets will be refundable, and change fees and excess baggage fees will be waived. Participants can take advantage of these fares up until three days before their departure.

WFSC participants will also be able to take advantage of discounted airfares on ERA commuter flights between Anchorage and Valdez. As well, Clippership Motorhomes is providing discounted RV rentals out of Anchorage at $90 per day. Please contact Linda at 907-562-7051 to reserve your RV--tell them you're with the World Free Skiing Championships.

For lodging, several hotels have offered a discount on hotel rooms for our festival dates of April 5-15. Two bed room rates range from $59-$79.

Our partners have asked to keep the process as streamlined as possible, so all discounted travel options must be booked through XO Net. To book your travel and lodging, contact Scott@xonet.org.
