X-Edge Launches Accessory
Innovative Snowboard Item Makes Riding The Chairlift More Comfortable.
Monday, January 28, 2002

Las Vegas, NV — X-Edge Inc. of San Jose, CA. introduced at SIA 2002 today a patented snowboarding product that makes sitting on a chairlift more comfortable. The Board Rest attaches to the top of a snowboard boot to hold the hanging end of the board while on a chairlift.

To attach the Board Rest, simply hook it through the laces of the snowboard boot. There are no cumbersome buckles or straps, and users don't even have to untie their boot to attach it. Once on the lift, riders just place their board on the holder where it stays comfortably in place, without having to flex their foot.

"Riders found this a natural extension of how they already ride chairlifts," says Andrew Zazzi, X-Edge Founder & CEO. "The only difference is now they're relaxed." Andrew continues, "Additionally, the Board Rest protects their laces and boots from damage due to the already common practice of holding their board on their boot."

The new Board Rest will be sold in snow and sporting good stores at a suggested retail price of $14.99. X-Edge is accepting orders now for August delivery to retailers. The Board Rest is available in four cool designs: the Radioactive, the Talon, the Fishbone, and the 420.
