Looking at this new website, full of beautiful photographs, has given me cause to reflect on my own life as well as accomplishments of Alpine Ascents International. It is often hard for me to separate the two, as many of our clients have become my closest friends. These are people with whom I've shared heavy packs, weathered harsh blizzards and reveled in glorious summits and challenged the unknown. Even though these friendships have been built and tested in the mountains, they have extended into my everyday life, given me wonderful companions around the world.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a first time climber, we will always strive to make your expedition as rewarding an adventure as possible. We look forward to climbing with you in the upcoming season.
Company Statement
Whether spiritual, personal or physical, the quest to understand the mountain is paramount in our efforts to reach the summit. With this in mind, we at Alpine Ascents International attempt to highlight the broader experience and take great efforts to incorporate the culture, region, history and climbing artistry into our expeditions. It is this attitude that we hope to share with others and which, in turn, enables our guides to develop expertise as climbers and teachers.
