Eco-Challenge Sabah 2000 has been won and the top fifteen teams or so are nursing their wounds at the finish. But out on the race course, a real battle remains for the teams still struggling to finish. This morning, teams scuffed along the highway, some using trekking poles, some carrying two packs. Team Toyota 2020, lead by their bright and articulate Yuen-Li Chan, faught hard to survive the ordeal.
She was assisted by her teammates and by members of Team Northstar. The two teams had banded together after the ropes/rappel section, and planned to stay together until the finish.
