After warning their
respective men to "watch
out for blonde wildlife," the two
women jumped out of the jungle near
PC 18, startling the weary competitors.
Later, Sharman, Parr's wife of 15 years,
left a small care package for her hubby
at PC 25, including a love letter and a
small stuffed koala toy.
"My husband said it really helped his
blisters," she said.
Lennox, a health club director who trains
camels foroutback expeditions, welcomed
the spousal intrusion.
"It really lifted our spirits," he said.
