The Winter That Never Was
Here in Maine ... the winter of 2005-06 is by far the least stimulating winter for knuckle-draggers and two-plankers since the dawn of time (or, at least, since I started keeping track back in 1979)
We've had just one good snowstorm, which has led to many days sitting around cursing Mother Nature; but we have had a bunch of rain, which has led to few days of decent paddling. Myself, I am just sort of easing my way into the winter paddling scene (READ: Maine water in December through February is damn cold!) but there has been some solid opportunity to get out and get wet.
Here is footage that we took on the Kennebec River on the last day of November.
